Huge win for medtech industry at WA Innovator of the Year Awards.

WA Innovator of the Year acknowledges innovative and entrepreneurial businesses in WA. This year, three medtech companies received awards.

VeinTech was arwarded the Business News "Great for the State" Award. VeinTech is a start up that emerged from the Perth Biodesign course in 2019, it aims to improve the success rate of cannulations through an ultraportable device.

​

VitalTrace won the Wesfarmers Wellbeing Award. VitalTrace, another company born from the Perth Biodesign course in 2017, are developing a novel biosensor device for childbirth monitoring.

​

Navier Medical was awarded the Rio Tinto Emerging Innovation Award. Navier Medical is developing Apricot, an advanced coronary artery assessment tool.
